內容簡介：
福音不是一個立竿見影的藥方，乃是對人的終極關懷，從根本上解決人的問題。福音不是人的自救，乃是上帝對人的拯救。福音不是訴諸於人的美德和智能，乃是以人的軟弱無能為前提。福音不是教人做什麽，乃是首先讓人"知道自己正在做什麽"。福音也不是救國救民的社會旗幟，乃是照亮一個個個人生命的光。
《 聖經》四福音書記載的耶穌，雖然只留下幾百句話，數十件事，簡潔得很，其内涵卻是整個人類歷史演繹不盡的，其意義在每個時代都是首屈一指的，其價值對每個人都是無可取代的。
電視專題片《福音》根據聖經四福音書的內容，結合人類道德、科學和生命的光景，面對宇宙的浩瀚、深邃和奇妙，展示上帝對人生的永恆應答。每一集結尾都有對朋友的呼召和對上帝的禱告。
《福音》片長3小時15分鐘，包括序曲"降臨"、第一集"恩典"、第二集"真理"、第三集"生命"、第四集"呼喚"。
序曲《降臨》：宇宙和地球的奇妙，牛頓、愛因斯坦和霍金的感嘆，接下來，一個奇妙的嬰孩，以奇妙的方式，誕生於一個奇妙的時空。
第一集《恩典》： 戰爭、恐怖、道德環境日趨惡化。人類在追求良善中陷入罪惡。耶穌來了，祂活出了只有上帝才能活出的恩典，光照人的罪，赦免人的罪，洗淨人的罪。
人的罪與耶穌的拯救。耶穌以陽光、雨水和十字架的愛，來光照人的罪，叫人認罪；赦免人的罪，叫人離罪；贖淨人的罪，叫人無罪，叫人因信稱義。
第二集《真理》： 科學告訴人類，宇宙有一個超越物質時空的神秘起點。人類在追求真理中陷入迷茫。耶穌來了，祂說出了只有上帝才能說出的真理，包括宇宙的來龍去脈和人類的生死之道。
當代科學最重大的進展：宇宙大爆炸和DNA密碼。《聖經》的啓示：太初有道，道就是上帝，上帝是靈，他使無變有，創造天地。耶穌說，不僅上帝是靈，叫人活著的也是靈。人的靈必須重生，才能認識上帝。宇宙的來龍去脈、人類的生死之道和世界末日的光景，這個年僅三十三歲、沒有進過學堂的木匠之子早在兩千年前就已經告訴了人類。
第三集《生命》： 每個人都將死去，每個人都在死去。人類在追求生命中陷入死亡。耶穌來了，祂行出了只有上帝才能行出的大能，醫病、趕鬼、叫死人復活，祂自己也從死裡復活，向人類顯明了永生之道。
人身上生與死兩股力量激烈交戰，以死亡告終。耶穌有主宰生命的能力，他進入人生，扶助人生的軟弱，又進入死亡，敗壞死亡的權勢。他自己被釘死、埋葬，第三天從死裏復活，與門徒同住40天後離開這個時空。從此，凡是在耶穌基督裏的人，都知道自己有永生。
第四集《呼喚》： 不能不尋找、卻注定找不到真相的人類，壓根兒不知道自己尋找的是什麼。祂已經來了。道來呼喚人，人必須按照道的超然本性來接待祂，這就是信。凡接待祂、就是信祂名的人，祂就賜他們權炳，作上帝的兒女。
像西西弗斯，又像等待戈多，又像尋找靈山，人類找不到至善、真理和永生之道。其實他早已來找人了。只是因爲這道遠遠高於人，就像赫拉克利特所說，人即使看到他也認不出來，即使聼到他也聼不明白。兩千年來，很多最偉大的藝術家、文學家、思想家、政治家和科學家們，都是憑藉單純的信心，俯伏在耶穌腳下。歷史已經、正在並將繼續為他作證。
《福音》有一些特點：第一，每一集都以禱告作爲結束。第二，自始至終沒有出現耶穌的面部形象。第三，不能一氣看完，因爲内容太多，最好一次看一集。
觀看指南： 鑒於《福音》內容豐富，不適合一次看完，建議個人、家庭和團契分三次或四次觀看。

《福音》的配樂，在黃安倫指導下，全部採用經典作品，其中除猶太人科普蘭以外，全是基督徒作曲家，包括巴赫、貝多芬、勃拉姆斯、莫札特、門德爾松、亨德爾、海頓、布鲁克納、瓦格納等等。
《福音》的對象，主要是非基督徒。耶穌，對基督徒來説已經耳熟能詳，但對於十多億中國人來説，耶穌說的話、行的事和兩千年來的巨大影響，他們聼來都很陌生，很新鮮，甚至很震撼。試放《福音》時，一位非基督徒朋友，看到耶穌講：你們看野地的花，她也不紡線也不織布，然而就是所羅門王最榮華的時候，他的穿戴還不如這一朵小花呢！他感嘆說：說的太好了！太好了！還有不止一位朋友，看到耶穌赦免犯姦淫的女人那一段，非常感動，說這是一種聞所未聞、煥然一新、崇高無比的境界。至於十字架，大概世人都見過，卻沒有多少人知道它的含義，相信《福音》會讓他們知道。
耶穌就是福音。電視片《福音》就是要叫人認識耶穌。一旦認識了耶穌，才能認識自己，認識世界，認識至善、真理和永生之道，就是上帝。
In Feb. 2007, the same producers and director of the bestseller "The Cross: Jesus in China" published another essential gospel tool: a film called "The Gospel."
After watching "The Cross," many people asked the same questions: How did the Gospel change a prodigal son to a good husband and father? Why did a gang leader become God's servant because of the Gospel? Why is it that generation after generation, people continue to carry the Cross in spite of persecution?
The meaning of "Gospel" is "Good News". Indeed, what other news is greater and better than the news that Jesus gives grace, truth, and eternal life to sinful, limited, and mortal human beings, if they are only willing to believe?
The Gospel is a heavenly revelation, and Jesus is the heavenly person who speaks the Gospel to this world.

This Chinese edition of "The Gospel" is 3 hours and 50 minutes long. There are two products: a DVD version, containing 2 discs, and a VCD version, containing 4 discs. The VCD version is suitable for VCD machines in China. Both VCD annd DVD are narrated only in Mandarin and have Chinese subtitles.
The Gospel is not a quick-working medicine with immediate effects, but it is still the ultimate care for human beings. It provides solutions for man's fundamental problems. The Gospel is not man's self-aid, but God's salvation for human beings. The Gospel does not appeal to man's virtues, talents, or intelligence; rather, it is preconditioned on man's weakness. The Gospel does not teach people what to do, but rather reveals to a person his true condition. The Gospel is not a social banner to save a country or a people, but it is the light of life that shines on each person.
Although the four Gospels in the Bible record only a few hundred of Jesus' sentences and a few dozen events, their connotation is timeless, and their value is irreplaceable. This film, "The Gospel," reveals God's eternal answer for man by presenting the contents of the four Gospels; showing man's condition concerning morals, science, and life; and revealing the broadness, profundity, and wonder of the universe.
There are a total of 4 episodes. There is a calling and a prayer at the end of each episode.
In this 3-hour and 50-minute film, we have four episodes:
1. Grace
2. Truth
3. Life
4. Calling
Prelude: "Descending"...A wonderful Child was born in a wonderful time in a wonderful way, given to this universe.
Episode 1: "Grace"...morals have decayed; wars and terrors have happened. Man, though pursuing goodness, fell into sin. Jesus came and lived with the grace that only God can have, shining on man's sins, and then forgiving and cleansing him of his sins.
Episode 2: "Truth"...While pursuing truth, man fell into confusion. Jesus came, speaking out God's immeasurable truth. The Bible reveals that "in the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."
God can make something out of nothing. He created the universe. Jesus said that God is a Spirit, and it is also because of our spirit that we live. Our spirit must be born again before we can know God.
Episode 3: "Life"...Everyone will die. When Jesus came, He healed, expelled demons, and resurrected the dead. He Himself also came back to life from the dead and showed the path to eternity. Whoever lives in Christ has eternal life.
Episode 4: "Calling"...He calls to every person. Those who receive Him are those who believe in His name, and He makes them children of God. For two thousand years, many great artists, writers, statesmen, and scientists have by simple faith humbled themselves at Jesus' feet. History has already testified for Jesus, and will continue to testify.
There are three special characteristics of this film. First, every episode ends with a prayer. Second, Jesus' face never appears in the film. Third, due to the amount of content, it is better to watch only one episode at a time, instead of watching all four episodes in one sitting.
The background music is all classical music composed by Christian musicians such as Bach, Mozart, Mendehlsson, Haydn, and Handel, and one Jewish composer.
The message of the "The Gospel" is directed towards non-Christians. Christians are already familiar with Jesus; but to 1.3 million Chinese, Jesus' words, deeds, and great impact are very unfamiliar and even surprising. A non-Christian friend saw the film "Gospel" and exclaimed, "What a wonderful saying! That the most glorious clothes of King Solomon cannot be compared with the beauty of the flowers of the field." Another friend, when he saw that Jesus forgave the adulterous woman, was very touched and said that he had never heard of these teachings.
People have seen "The Cross," but not many people know its meaning. The film "The Gospel" will remedy that problem.
Jesus is the Gospel. "The Gospel" will lead people to know Jesus. Once they know Jesus, then they will truly know themselves and the world, and they will know that the ultimate Truth and eternal life is God. |
